Construction Worker Preparing

Kia Ora, I'm Eddie...

...and I'm not your typical contractor - and that's exactly the point.

Most people don't need another specialist who does one thing. They need someone who can handle whatever needs handling and knows who to call when specialized work is required.

Jack of All Trades, Master of Getting It Done

At first glance, a business that does fencing, land clearing, AND sells cars might seem unfocused. But in regional New Zealand, connections matter more than specialization.

When I clear a farm and find a vintage tractor buried in the scrub, I know who'll buy it. When a commercial client needs electric gates, I've already worked with the best electricians. When someone needs to sell their car fast, I've got buyers waiting.

It's not about doing everything himself - it's about managing everything properly.

I've built extensive connections across the region - relationships that come from consistent, quality work. I know who does what well, who's reliable, and who'll show up when they say they will. That network means your project gets the right people, fast.

Eddie won't:
  • Overpromise timelines to win jobs

  • Disappear mid-project

  • Charge for unnecessary work

Eddie will:
  • Give realistic timelines and stick to them

  • Manage projects start to finish

  • Communicate clearly and regularly

  • Find value and savings wherever possible

About Eddie

(on a personal note)

From Pheasant Plucker to Running My Own Show

Look, I'll be straight with you. Left school with nothing - no qualifications, can't spell, and still mess up half the words I try to say (I'm diagnosed very dyslexic). Started plucking pheasants for my uncle, worked in a slaughterhouse, did whatever job paid. But I've spent 30-odd years traveling around the world on my own, learning on the job, figuring things out. Now I'm 56, made New Zealand home, and running my own business doing construction, car sales, land clearing, whatever needs doing. You don't need fancy certificates to work hard - you just need to show up and get on with it.

Doing Work That Actually Makes Me Happy

After decades working for other people, I wanted something different. I love people, love animals, and wanted an actual work-life balance. That's why Voller Sales does all sorts - keeps it interesting, lets me help different people with different problems.

I'm always learning new stuff, doing courses, and getting certifications. Member of Mates in Construction because mental health matters in this game. At 56, I want to enjoy my work, not dread Mondays.

Helping People Like Me

If you're starting with nothing like I did, or changing careers later, or just need someone to give you a fair crack - that's what I'm about.

I want to see more young people in trades, more women in construction, and more people brave enough to make changes. I'm not pretending to be some corporate type - I'm a grafter who learned everything the hard way. But I can run excavators, manage big projects, build fences, sell cars, and clear land. If that's your kind of person, let's talk. Job Done.
